The conducive environment, fascinating colours all round; colourful light at different positions; sounds sweeting the soul; cool air gracing the air.

Faces graced with heavy makeovers that transformed a mother to a 'sweet sixteen'; the ears was the pillar for colourful shining golds; hairs in different patterns and length; the body was decorated with different versions of gowns; they were higher than they really are; the look on their faces explains beauty better.

But beside each  of these heads were another set of heads which were neither hairless nor short. They wore suits in common but of different colours  and designs; their shining shoes and wrist watches were outstanding.

Welfare was perfect. A set of people in uniform served the drinks while the guests were going around to exchange pleasantries.

The chairs and tables setting was exceptional. Looked as if more of standing would be done and when the time comes to sit, it was already provided with maximum of two people on a table except Carolina's Parent's table which was three because they already informed the organizers about them bringing their daughter. This made the chairs to become one more than the hundred budgeted for.

In just about few minutes before the commencement of the program, Ademi and Catherine walked into the hall holding hands. Catherine greeted some people while Ademi just followed her about. Just because he wasn't comfortable, he pestered Catherine to reduce her pleasantries and let them go have their seats.

The were behaving as if everything was fine but Ademi keeps wondering why she chose to pretend in front of these people. Anyways he flowed along and enjoyed the moment while it lasted.

In no time, the event started and it was a nice place to be. After about an hour into the activities, Carolina and her parents walked in but didn't get attention at all. They had their seats and it seemed like they all looked tensed.

The varieties served was a course on it's own. Except the fact that you want to comport yourself in settings like this, you sure would want to taste every bit of what was being carried around but then, the life in the program will also take your mind a little bit away from food and junks served. The fun; advice, testimonies, games, music and many more lightened up everyone and it was as if they shouldn't go back to their homes.

In no time, it was the last person's turn to give the final talk for the day and they did think they had seen it all until this section. It was supposed to be a closing remarks but it turned out to be the best part.

OMAA was a good friend of the host and was asked to take the closing remarks. He didn't just do that, he also brought Ademi and Carolina close again.

Everyone watched him as he walked towards the stage and held the microphone with his two hands. Then he began:

"Hi everyone. I am so glad to be part of this program and i so much appreciate what this has done to my marriage. I know many of us have had this kind of nice time with our spouse(s) for a long time. I feel i need to say something quickly.

Everyone please look at your spouse eyeball to eyeball and tell him/her that 'do you know that i am attached to you with a strong cord?'.
Say again that 'Do you know that what we have together is not just love but an unnoticed covenant'. Everyone said this but with a surprise face.

I can see the reactions on your faces and if your question is how, then please listen.

Have you ever questioned the importance of blood? I don't mean its importance in the body but in other ways it's been used. Why do ritualists and other evil doers have to kill a living thing not for other thing but because of the blood? Have you ever thought about it? Have you ever questioned how oath works just because of the blood included? Have you ever noticed why Jesus Christ (as the Christians believe) had to shed his blood to break the evil covenant? (Christians believe that you can be washed away from all sins and evil curses by the blood of Jesus. But why blood?)

There is this voice a blood has and we don't seem to notice.

 Blood is the foundation or backbone of every covenant and it takes another blood to change such covenant" at this point, Ademi and Carolina were having more understanding of what they had done. On their different seats, they were already scared and Carolina almost started crying before she controlled it.
Omaa continued "Do you know that the night of a wedding where the newly married couple get to officially and legally have their first sex is another covenant to a new life.

One thing about sex that we don't know is that it is spiritual and an attachment that has no visible cord but has effect like a covenant. Just like a conjoined twins have no option than to do things together; that whatever happens to A also happens to B so also is sex. You don't want to curse someone you have had sex with because you are also cursing yourself and it's same as when you bless them.

So as we are couples here, let's know that there is a cord joining us and we should always wish our spouses well. Thank you." OMAA dropped the microphone and was heading to his sit but while getting down on the stage, he went back like he forgot to say something. He took the microphone again "So sorry to come back, i want to say that if there's anyone that thinks he/she is receiving the impact of a covenant, please see me at the end of this event. Thanks"

Immediately he said this, Ademi felt that he needed to see OMAA but he was scared of how to explain to his wife because she can end up asking why he wants to see him and all. Carolina wanted to do the same but was also afraid of her parents asking or wanting to follow her so she locked up and promised herself to get his contact anyway.

While Ademi and his wife was heading out, he reluctantly told her that he wished he could talk with OMAA and immediately, Catherine took it up and took him right towards OMAA without even asking why he wanted to see him but Ademi was still scared because she was going to stay with him.

Ademi's fear was killed when he met with OMAA and Catherine excused them to meet her celebrity crush. In fact, that was her own intention to use the opportunity to talk to the organizer of the event and since OMAA and her celebrity crush were friends, she quickly used the opportunity wisely.

Ademi started pouring out everything to OMAA and while he was doing that, Carolina was in the car with her parents heading home but in few minutes after, they turned back towards the hall like they forgot something. And truly her parents forgot to see their friends they planned to see and after receiving the calls from them, they had to turn back.

While they got to the hall, it looked to Carolina that her parents were going to stay long and so she excused them while she was going to wait for them in the hall.

As soon as she left her parents presence, she started looking for OMAA and while doing that, Catherine came disturbing the conversation between Ademi and OMAA. She took an excuse and was very serious.

As soon as they got out of the hall, Carolina met with OMAA and started discussing. Catherine gave Ademi his phone to pick a WhatsApp call from a foreign country. She was really boiling like someone who has been betrayed. Ademi picked the call and it was a voice of a female 'hello! This is Bimbola. You read my message and didn't reply and you think i will leave you alone? You better reply and let's start talking because you are the one behind it and i am sure of it" she hung up and Ademi was wondering what she was talking about.

He was about checking the message when Catherine snatched the phone and opened the same message to show him. "What is this? How will you get someone pregnant and you didn't tell me about it? So you have a wife and all you are doing is to play me to get a permanent stay here. No wonder you were pretending as if you are impotent. You played your game well but right now, you have failed because i am done with you and you are leaving this country tomorrow." She left with anger without hearing the side of Ademi. Another disaster at the peak of solving one.

He couldn't even think. All his mind was to get to OMAA and finish his explanations including the new thing that happened and beg him to help out by explaining all to his wife because he was scared to do so.

He walked towards OMAA and was praying he should still meet him there but another shock happened. At the entrance, Carolina was leaving while Ademi met her. It was a big shock to the two lovers and all you can hear was a very loud Silence. Both of them kept looking at each other.

'This is the person i was talking about,' Ademi and Carolina finally said to OMAA to break the silence but OMAA was already late for his flight. His escorts were already hastening him and what he did was to pray for them and led them to Christ. He told them that since they had a multiple blood covenant, that the only way to break it is to use another blood which is the blood of Jesus Christ.

In no time, he left them in the room and both of them continued to look at each other. Ademi took up the courage and told her everything that happened. She began to cry again and she was about telling him her own story too but couldn't because her parents were already calling her. All she said before she left was that she was already pregnant for another Person named Paul not knowing that Ademi knew him.

They couldn't finish the talk before Carolina left. Both of them managed to hug but it was a slight one. Ademi also left for home.

Catherine welcomed him with a divorce letter and in few days, he was back to his country. Bimbola received him into her house and they start a new life.

Carolina ended up marrying Paul before she gave birth to a baby boy- Carolina gave him Ademi.

Bimbola gave birth to a twin- two girls- he named then Carolina and Catherine.

Carolina was still in rehab and hadn't really recover. The silence and idleness would not stop making her think the more. At work, they were already pestering her to come back but after few days, they got to know where she really was and  started planning to replace her. She was also lagging behind with school activities and she already had some extra years. For her, it was as if the world was ending soon. In fact, she has been planning on suicide.

The moon shone brightly, as she walked towards her house, it was as if the moon was on her trail and was pointing her in her direction. She was walking home like an actor in a movie who had just finished the mission. In no time, she got to the door and knocked.

It was a risk in her part but love was still convincing her to do it. It was a battle between her and her family and it ended with her leaving their house after lots of arguments though they wouldn't allow her but she insisted and left in anger.

Ademi was surprised to get a knock on his door by that time of the night. Not like he had a friend. In his mind as he walked towards the door, he thought it was either the manager of the hotel or any of the attendants who has vital information for him. 'Please who's there?' He finally asked right in front of the door.

'It's Catherine' she said in a tone sounding rather tired and frustrated. She got in and walked towards the chair immediately without waiting for Ademi's go ahead. She cleared her throat several times wanting to answer to Ademi's 'why have you come' question but she didn't know how to start with her explanations.

She handed a file with a few number of slips to him and asked him to check it out. In Ademi's mind, he thought she had helped him get license to stay longer or came for another assignment for him. Then when he saw it was a document for court wedding, he asked: 'what is this about?'

Catherine let the cat out of the bag but Ademi killed the cat immediately. 'Catherine! It's not possible. I can never marry you and i have my reasons. I know you are trying to help me stay but this is not possible please'

Catherine was disappointed and thought herself so low to demand such a thing. Tears found their way out of her eyes and she went ahead to explain how she had gone a long way to make this happen. She couldn't contain what happened so she left for home.

At that time of the night, it was risky for her and that landed her in the midst of gangs who took advantage of her. They took all her belongings but they didn't touch her. It was on her way home she sustained minor injuries because the shock was on her. She was able to get help that night and was rushed to the hospital.

Ademi thought about his life after few minutes Catherine left his room. 'I can't find Carolina and i have two days to go back, how sure am I that i would see her and even if i do, wouldn't it be too late to get my permanent stay? which means i will go back to my country and begin a new life, looking for job and all. But if i marry Catherine, i can see Carolina and explain what happened and things can be corrected. Which should I go for? My head please decide the best for me' Ademi was on this thought all night without a single sleep.

In the morning, he landed in the hospital where Catherine was. He was surprised to hear that she was in the hospital and went there to ask what happened. The pity, the feelings and Ademi's thoughts got him to spill out to Catherine 'I am ready to marry you Catherine. I didn't mean to hurt you yesterday and in fact, you are the one helping me but i had a reason bothering my mind but never mind. I am off it and i am ready to start a new life with you'

Catherine was very happy and in no time, she was out of the bed and left with Ademi. Ademi married her that day and they started a new life.

Night came and it was time to unlock the night exercises but Ademi rejected. He gave the  excuse of being tired but in his mind, he wanted to sort things out with Carolina first and to break the commitment. His excuses were different with each day, he restrained until he knew Catherine wouldn't take it lightly anymore. So he decided to let go and do the needful as her husband.

Carolina had begun to stay too long at the rehab and her parents were beginning to get worried for her. They took her away to another highly recognized therapist who took her through a long walk into her relationship with Ademi. It took time but she spilled everything out and for the first time, she told her about the oath too.

Something bad almost happened the night Ademi decided to satisfy Catherine with sex, throughout the time they tried to have sex, Ademi's Penis was not coming up. Just like a faulty generator does, it would start work but when load is applied, it would go off immediately. They tried severally and in fact, Catherine tried to stimulate it to work but this on and off thing was the order of the day.

Telling the therapist alone came to Carolina as a relief from a heavy burden, coupled with the acceptance and professionalism of the therapist. She worked on her mind especially her mindset and in few days, Carolina was already getting better. She had started to reduce her rate of unfriendliness and was already giving positive look to life again.

Different thoughts were running through Catherine's mind as she was sweating and was looking straight to Ademi wanting him to explain what was happening with him. 'Now i see the reason why this guy has been avoiding this. What have i gotten myself into? How can i marry someone i know nothing about? I don't know his family or friends. All i know is his name and his brilliancy. Who knows if he is a threat and the most wanted criminal in his country. What again happen to his penis, i just hope it's not that he is impotent. God help me because i don't know who i will discuss this with. I have fought my parents to get this relationship happen and now, i am in a trouble. What do i do Lord?'

 Ademi got all his mind to the oath and became more scared of what could happen next. 'If this can happen to me, that means every other thing will too. How do i come out of this that i have gotten myself into? Who will help me out of this mess i got myself into?'

Carolina came back home agile again and she was looking renewed and happy. Her parents were happy about this and were going to do anything to protect her emotional life this time. So their plan was to get her a responsible guy and in no time, they would get married. But will Carolina ever make this happen?

One fresh morning, Carolina got up suddenly and rushed down to the toilet to vomit. It was strange to her to have done that. It got more surprising when she kept going to do the same thing and she was always feeling dizzy and fatigued. In no time, her mom detected she was pregnant. "Mom how can i be pregnant. Something that i just finished my menstruation for this month last week. So how come? I don't think it's pregnancy'

The unbelievable happened when after the test in the hospital, Carolina was six weeks pregnant. "Who did this to you Carolina?" Her mom asked and she was impatient to get her reply but all Carolina did was cry.

She told her parents about what happened between her and Paul and in no time, she was back to her emotional imbalance. This time, it became worse and needed instant attention.

After about one or two days, Catherine came home with an handbill to show Ademi. She had been bothered about Ademi's inability to get horny and she was already picking up fights with him. In fact, it was a silent work between both of them until the day she brought the handbill. It was an invitation to a couple's gathering organized by a notable movie star in the country. Her love for the actor compelled her to make it up with Ademi so that she can attend

Coincidentally, Carolina's parents also planned to attend because they were specifically invited.

Days passed and the day came to limelight. Very early in the morning, Carolina's parent thought about their child and how she's been behaving recently. They were scared of what she could do at anytime. 'Darling, it will be better we take her along with us to today's party or we wouldn't go at all because it's risky for us to leave her alone in the house. 'Carolina's mother said this with so much seriousness that the next decision for them was whether to go or not.  Will they go?

In no time, they moved to the next level. The bed became the ring and the fight began.

One thing was common with the two 'six months abstaining' partners. After the rounds of fights in the ring, there was this relief and the best way to explain it is like the moment you run into the toilet just about one second remaining for the faeces to drop in your pants, you pull it off and it splashed around the corners of the WC and this deep sigh comes out loud.

Paul left Carolina in no time without saying much. They both behaved as tho nothing happened. Carolina soon remembered the night of her birthday right under the rain. She became scared especially when she remembered that moment Ademi mixed the bloods together and they made promises. She started crying again after recollecting in details that she was crying that night and it was raining heavily then she said that

"I am taking this bold step today and i make  promise that i will never cheat on you neither will i leave you for the rest of my life. That if i do, i should experience a downfall that I can never imagine including the downfall of my sexual organs."

She got more scared and wanted to stop thinking. She took her earpiece and listened to music and then switched to movie.

Ademi had the same experience and was scared too. It was a coincidence but it was a negative one for the love birds.

It was as if the oath had started working on Ademi because as at the time he was thinking about the oath, he was right beside Bimbola. Bimbola couldn't go home that night because it was too late and so they slept together. She was already fast asleep while Ademi sat upright right beside her on the bed thinking. He was looking at Bimbola as if they were enemies. Even seeing her naked beside him didn't even move him. Not even her change of position and her scratching of the flesh below her breast moved Ademi.

She looked disgusting in his eyes to the extent that he left the bed to sleep on the chair. He took his phone to check it out and saw a lot of missed calls and messages. He looked through, answered few and got to a message from his bank account. He has been debited the exact amount Carolina has contributed. He wasn't shocked but he wasn't happy about what has been happening to him.

He didn't plan to question the account officer about the money because he knew what happened already. Ademi was just thinking on how to use his little share to get him to Belgium. He was on this thought until he slept off.
......

Few months after, Ademi and Bimbola became so close. It was either Ademi is indoor laying on two different chairs- half of his body resting on the first chair and the other half including the leg hanging on the other chair. While he is in this position, it's either he is watching television or on his phone or probably looking upward towards the ceiling. If not that, then he will be with Bimbola either at home, on an outing or for a specific visit. They played like kids and loved each other's company but they were just friends and took the other night to be a mistake that will not happen again.

Bimbola wanted to connect Ademi and Carolina together again. She was going to add her savings to that of Ademi to make him go meet his lover bird since all her efforts to explain to Mr Emeka was very abortive. Even her reaching Carolina to explain to her wasn't possible.

She was even at the for front to do all the processings for the visa registration for Ademi. It was like a devil coming back to be a friend after destroying everything. At least, she was trying to make it up to him.

Carolina was ready to be herself. She wanted to start a new life and was ready to forget the past but there was a problem. She was having a very sabotaging defect in terms of relationship with guys. In fact, she fought with Paul not because of the other night but on a slight issue that doesn't worth it. She had become a 'cold shoulder' and will always flare up on any issue.

At home, she had changed too. She stayed more in her room and was more silent. Her attitude to her parents explained better what she was like now. She flared up whenever any of her parents pressurized her about bringing a spouse.

Her parents noticed her and one night sat her down to talk to her. She told them about her relationship with Ademi and all that happened. They didn't scold her, they embraced her in love. They suggested that she visits a rehab. She never wanted to because she thought her issue wasn't serious to that extent.

Then one day, it became clear that she really needs to visit a rehab. She wasn't friendly anymore and she wasn't finding meaning to her life either. She thinks of suicide sometimes and almost took a step but someone keeps being a motivation to her unknowingly.

So she took permission from school and from work and left for rehab thinking it was going to be in about few days but the few days started taking so long.

It was so long that Ademi wouldn't see her for about one week he stood around her school. Yes! Ademi got his flight accomplished with all efforts from Bimbola. It was looking so difficult for Ademi but Bimbola through all her long legs through the guys she had satisfied got Ademi a chance but it was a two weeks chance- like a vacation.

His plan was to get to Belgium and settle things with Carolina. He was going to surprise her at school since she told him everything about the school including the location.  Then after he meets Carolina , he'd explain things to her  and give proofs by calling Bimbola. Then after getting to settle things with her,  he'd process his permanent stay with Carolina's share she took back.

The shorts he wore was about one quarter of his trousers. The blue Ankara designed with a number of white circles made on regular intervals all through the short was complemented with a white Polo shirt. His red cap was photocopying his nice shoe. To crown it up, he used a blue sun glasses. He became a young-gentle-tall guy on black skin. The hair all over his legs was Carolina's favorite anytime especially when they are together and Ademi's legs are on her laps. She plays with the hair and this makes Ademi sleep after the so much pleasure he'd have gotten from it.

It was Ademi's first day at the school and his first strategy was to impress Carolina with his appearance but after getting to the school , he wasn't impressing Caro but every other lady around.

A number of them almost hit the next person or object ahead of them because of their inability to take their eyes off Ademi. But for him, he was blind to anything other than Carolina.

He watched vehicles passed by and kept looking around. He sometimes ran after some ladies whose behind looked like that of Carolina. It got to a stage, he started asking people about her and those that have seen her before confirmed it that she's a student but they don't know her whereabout.

After about few hours of searching for her, Ademi was tired and in fact, students were already receiving lectures. Being Curious to surprise Carolina got him tired and where next he landed was right in front of the school premises. There's a 'love garden' situated at the side of the school immediately after the fence on the right hand side.

Trees were few meters apart from the roof. Its earth was decorated with dried leaves and some tiny ants walking around in groups. Most times, the decorator never stopped working as it laid more leaves almost every second and sometimes got the chairs and tables decorated too especially when the wind blows heavily to and fro.

Ademi sat in a position that'd make him see everyone entering the school. He was enjoying the relaxed environment he was in but he did not let his eyes out of the gate and the people passing. After a while, he dozed off only for him to wake up few hours later. Then he quickly checked around him to see if he hadn't been robbed because he knows if he dare tries this in the country he came from, he could even lose his trousers but this time, he didn't misplace anything. He even saw a purse instead. He checked the purse and it was filled with money and some other important items including the IDcard of the owner.

So he had to increase the number of people he was searching for from one to two. The day went and the next day came. Ademi resumed work and was searching for the two ladies and finally, he met one and that was Catherine the owner of the purse.

Catherine was happy and thanked him for having such integrity. They got connected and soon, she was the one helping him look for Carolina. It was about one week after that Ademi got to know from Paul that Carolina wasn't around. Her parents had told Paul that she went for holiday but didn't tell him where exactly.

'What will i do? I have barely one week left before I leave the country.' Ademi was so bothered and Catherine soon got to know he wasn't settled. She was beginning to have feelings for him because of how Intelligent he'd shown to be. There was a day he helped her with her assignment and some of his advice to her were so helpful. In fact, she was trying to get closer. So it was an opportunity for her. She pestered him until he told her that very soon, he would be deported.

She sourced for means of what could extend his stay and one of the best option she was told was for him to marry a citizen.

Either he marry Catherine or get deported, which one?

Why do we give mom more priority? Even if it has to be, should dad's own be too small? Or is he the one causing it?

Ok Dad, please give me more audience anytime you around. We use to watch American films and we want you to be like those dads in that film.

Lastly, mom please love my dad because i hope you know i observe how you both behave. Please teach me your child the values and joy of marriage.

Ademi finally arrived and wasn't looking radiant as usual. His face was rough and his clothes wasn't in a good order. He greeted his boss with a smiling face and was about going to his office but didn't take more than two steps before he begin to hear all sorts coming from his boss.
"Ademi! You lack manners, you couldn't even reply the message i sent to you yesterday. Now you walk out on me. Didn't you read in the message that i wanted to see you first thing today?" Ademi wanted to reply him but Mr Emeka didn't give opportunity. He continued with his rant "Because of the love i have for my daughter, i had endured you to this stage- Carolina is my daughter because myself and her father are very close friends. I didn't know you will go this far to betray her this much because of your promiscuity with the lady i warned you of,  about few hours ago.

See, Carolina has explained everything to me and i am ready to help her come over you this time. Her money in that savings is going back to her. Don't ever call her again. I trust her, she must have blocked you.

Don't give her any problems or else, i will arrest you and make sure i use all my power to make you rot in jail.
Just take your personal stuff from that office and please leave immediately." Mr Emeka said all of these in the presence of all his employees. Not that he called them to witness it but they all came due to his sonorous voice. He ask his secretary to follow Ademi and ensured he didn't take anything except his personal belongings.

Bimbola was on a spot destabilized and was very remorse. She felt guilty for running down Ademi's career and relationship. She wanted to talk with Mr Emeka but he didn't give her audience at all.

Ademi looked indifferent. It was as if he had been expecting what happened. He went straight to his office, took his phone, charger and other belongings he has there and left without saying a word until when he got outside the gate. He stood there to see his kind of fate.

He immediately left for home and while he was close to his house, he got a few alcoholic drinks enough to get him high.

He dropped his stuffs and landed on his bed again. That bed has been his soul mate. He was restricting the tears until he bursted out, crying like a baby. There were lot of rhetorical questions (like 'why me? What have i done to deserve this?') he kept asking.

Carolina wasn't settled. She wasn't concentrating at work and she was just snubbing anyone that tries to cheer her up. At a point, she took excuse from work and went home. She was so saturated with hatred and bitterness and needed to tell someone and so she called her friend in school. She was just crying on the phone and wasn't able to explain anything to him. Paul - her friend- asked about her whereabout and as soon as he knew she was at home, he left his office and came visiting.

In few minutes, he got to her room and they got talking. She told her everything except the oath. He consoled her and promised to go through it with her. They talked for more than two hours and when Paul was about going home, he hugged her for long and was petting her.

It was the petting that led Carolina to say her mind while they were still on the hug. "Paul, i am starving and it's because of him. No doubt, Ademi was drunk and so while on the hug, his hands was arousing Bimbola from her back. 'Bimbola, i have been starving for more than six months now.
