Why not me?

*WHY NOT ME?*
This question keeps popping up each time things we expect do not happen.
You went for an interview and to the best of your knowledge you were the most qualified to get the job but alas! You were not employed. Then you ask *why not me?*
    You are beautiful, classy, endowed, a lady who “every guy wants to die for”. But suddenly a rich handsome and good looking man comes out of nowhere and marry the supposed “most ugly” not too classy, not so endowed lady in your neighborhood. Then you ask again, *WHY NOT ME?*
    Sometimes being the most qualified does not get you the job not because you’re being witch hunted, but because the supposedly “less qualified” candidate has something or knows something that you don’t know and cannot learn in the walls of an academic institution - That thing is called *EXPERIENCE.*
Being the most beautiful but unmarried may not be because you are being followed by some “witches” in your village. It could be because of something that the supposed “ugly” lady in your neighborhood that recently got married has that you don’t have - That thing is called a *GOOD CHARACTER.*
So the next time you’re in a situation like this, before you ask why not me, ask do I have the experience or a good character?
