Why must I cram it?

WHY MUST I CRAM IT?

“Cram it o, cram it o” the lecturer emphasised passionately. And finally, he concluded that “if you must pass the exams, you must cram it”
On hearing this, I was so angry and disappointed. My heart immediately replied to the first note of warning that “why must I cram it?” And I almost shouted “Says who?” to his concluding note of warning.
But, why are they always giving us problem to cram what we are supposed to understand?
Sometimes, students cram not because they are not willing to understand but because the platform to understand is not provided by the teachers or lecturers! *Why will a tutor say you must give him “word for word in his exams? Why?”*
*Please what is education? I am so confused right now!*
No wonder I am always complaining that I don’t so much enjoy schooling like before. Back then, I always read all that I was taught and use that to pass my exams excellently but during my one year industrial training, I was already *abusing the education system for making me such a novice*
So my aim of going back to school is to challenge my lecturers to give me practicable lectures not just theoretical jargons. Of which I tried to do but they shocked me with answers like “site is different from class; you must cram this to pass; forget about site for now; and so on”
*Enough of being a book guru and its application novice!*
*Brilliant upstairs and Amateur downstairs? Not anymore*
Lecturers, teachers! Please help us. Give us practicable stuffs only. First thing first, tell us where we will be applying or needing what you want to teach us! If possible, give us more of practicable stuff than all the notes and cramming. We really want to know the stuff not just reciting it.  
  Students! Always try your best to understand what you are reading. Not just understanding it but practicably use it! That is really what education is all about.
If we all can do this, then I can see a better Nigeria!
I can go on and on. but in a nutshell let me say that:
 *“Cramming does not help me, my family, or the nation. Rather, it fills my brain with emptiness! why not teach me in practicable terms rather than in theoretical tautology!"*
