Many a time, hearing people talk about having “good character”, I wonder why good character is so important for every human to have and the impact of it in one’s life. Then my next question is how I can build one.

Dictionary defines character as the qualities and features that make a person different from others.

 This shows that no two persons can have the same character. It ought to be built by each individual and it's not innate but it’s something worth working hard to earn.

 *According to Abraham Lincoln he said and I quote that "character is a tree"*

Overtime, my thought was always asking what he meant by liking character to a tree until one day I could reference it to the fact that if you must get the sweetest unblemished fruit of a tree, you will have to climb top of the tree. For you to get there, you'll need to use the branches on the tree also.

Character is likened to the parts of a tree you have developed of formed that takes you to the higher level in life and also gives you an end product-fruit-according to your inputs!
*But nowadays, many have lost that good character and that has hunted them very bad*

 “What have I done wrong? I don't know why people don't like me"
But can you think of your character whether it worth it for people to like you-if not work hard to possess a good character because your elevation in life is influenced by its effect.

      *CHARACTER IS THE MIRROR! YOU ARE THE OBJECT!*
