Pam and Nath were so afraid of what she could be going through now and wanted to hear from her at all cost so that they can be rest assured she’s not doing or planing anything funny- maybe suicide. They chatted her up on WhatsApp and begged her to just give a reply so that they can have peace of mind and accidentally, she received the message the minute after she decided to surf. She took minutes before she replied and told both of them that she was fine and that they shouldn’t call her or text her again ever. 

Pam and Nath agreed to give her time to heal and the best they could do was to make sure those behind what happened to her get the right punishment- Nath was ready to use his influence to fight through the student union government. 

Since Rita was always indoors, she didnt even have the opportunity to see her friends in the neighbourhood and wasn’t giving them any clue that she was around not until Feranmi met her (Rita's) sister and asked of her well being only for her to be told that Rita was around. She came knocking, and to Rita’s surprise she saw her at the door and didn’t have any other choice than to let her in especially when she had her gown- Rita became scared because she didn’t know what to tell her about what happened to her gown.

“Babe, so you can’t even tell pesin say you they area abi you no wan return my cloth ni or you no wan make we collect watin you bring con? Shiiior” Feranmi said this as she walked into Rita’s room and slapped her (Rita’s) buttocks like they do normally but Rita’s response was a little indifferent.She tried to hide her feelings and portray being happy but since Feranmi was this playful type, she reacted. 

Then, Feranmi detected that things were not so good with her . She questioned her until she spilled it out but instead of her to help her with advices to move on, she gave her reasons for her to be a logger-heads with Pam and Nath.  

“Rita! You better listen to me now because what you’re going through is very delicate. Those two guys you call friends are the devil here. Since they were with you that night when you were misbehaving, why couldn’t they have gotten  you home as early as possible before it got to the point where it was very obvious to the crowd? 

They later helped you home only for them to get you naked in their house and still left the door and window unlocked. Are they mad? How sure are you that they didn’t take advantage of you  while you were unconscious? I feel you need to discipline them seriously for all they’ve caused you. I don’t know how you’ll do that but you must. Do you hear me?”

Drop of tears escaped her eyelids and while she tried to stop it, it became an open flood. Her forehead was pointing downward but her right hand was supporting it as she cries bitterly. Different thoughts were running through her mind of how to go about what had happen to her. 

Feranmi closed the distance between her and Ritas'; drew her close; took her hands off her forehead and gave her shoulder to Rita to rest on while she rubbed her  back which was accompanied by sweet words of encouragement “Dear, i really understand what you’re going through and i feel for you.” She paused a little and continued “like i always say to myself, no matter what happens to me, I know I’ll be fine and if possible, I’ll go any length to seek justice to whatever someone does to me. Being a lady doesn’t make me weak. The last time a man tried to sexually harass me; I ensured I disgraced him publicly- since he has been frustrating me and using all his power because he is my lecturer to have sex with me; i pretended to have conceded to his request and while we were in the hotel room together, i told him to go have his bath and should come out naked because that’s what always turns me on and while he did that, i took shots of him without him knowing but i still didn’t allow him have sex with me because i pretended that my monthly flow showed up on that spot after he romanced me for some minutes. I sent the pictures to his wife as an anonymous person and i also threatened him that I was going to spread his story and pictures if he tries to act funny with me or any lady again. Right now, the marriage is in chaos and Mr Lecturer has been dancing to my tune. 

Lady! We have the power to seek justice for all the wrongs we’ve been served and that is what you’re going to do those stupid boys you call friends. 

So you’ll wipe your tears away now and we’ll  plan on how to treat their fuck up. Do you understand me?” Feranmi held her on her shoulder; get them to have eye contact and smiled and ensured she smiled too before she got her (Rita) forehead back on her (Feranmi) shoulder saying few more words. “You’ll be fine and you’ve got your favourite girl on this one with you. So cheer up and let’s plan to get justice for you so that your heart can have some satisfaction. If not, you may not be able to come over it and it might affect you emotionally. 

For two hours they planned on how to go about seeking justice before Feranmi left her, but Rita by this time had gotten her spirit lifted and was showing a better side . She cooked that night for the first time since she got back; also rapport well with her siblings and to cap it up, she had a nice sleep that night.
