Episode five: Your POTENTIAL (profession and purpose)
 Many people discover purpose and die down their profession or making it lag behind while some are soaring in their profession without the search for their purpose. The question is:
Why leaving profession behind due to discovery of purpose?
Why fulfilled in profession but dead in purpose?
It is purpose discovery that made
A mathematics professor a pastor (pastor E.A Adeboye)

An accounting student a musician (Lillies praiz)
A lawyer an artist (Funke Akindele)
A building student a life coach (Dexterous) and many more people.
It is good to be educated, to study a course at higher institution but that's not all about you. There is still something within you that need to be exposed to the world. You are more than that professional course!
 Yes! I am not disputing the fact that our society of today demand your level of education to be high. So many people just want to earn the certificate so as to be relevant in the society. It is a good idea but that is not all about you. You have other thing(s) that needs the uniquess of your creation. It is about time you stand for the real you!
Yes! Your original you is still somewhere hiding in you. You are the only best at it.
THEY ARE ALL YOUR POTENTIALS
Your profession and purpose combined are in your potentials. So your potential might be more than that of your friend. It depends on what the Lord bestowed on you. Remember that "to some He gave one, some five and some ten according to their capacity." So it may be more than one. But do ensure that you discover and utilise all to the masters satisfaction. Yes! All no stone must be left unturn because one day, the master is coming with his judgement.
The bible says in the book of Galatian 6 MSG version
"4-5Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don't be impressed with yourself. Don't compare yourself with others. Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life."
Ephesians1 also says
"11-12It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone."
Although, you might be late in some just like my friend who was crying one day that she was late in her education but you are not late until you are totally late. You still have time to meet up.
Just an advice on some process to discover where you can fit in: i will like to ask that do you know your temperament?
Because one way or the other, your inherited temperament have a great significance on getting some of your potentials. Below are few list of this but you have to first know your primary and secondary temperaments.
* sanguines : people-oriented salesman type who excel in public relations, people helping, or anything that reqires charisma. They can work as an actor, entertainers, envangelist, hospital worker etc.
* cholerics: strong natural leaders that are goal or project oriented individuals who like to manage people. They can work as a supervisor for craftmen, developer, teaching(practical sublects), politics, good preacher, etc
* Melancholies: creative, analytical individuals with strong perfectionist tendecies who often have aesthetic traits. They can work as music composer, artists, inventors, philosophers, theoreticians, scientists, accountant, educators, doctors etc.
* Phlegmatics: cool, detailed individual. They can do statistics, microscopic work, best elementary teachers, engineering, artisans of all kind etc.
