The right rod is the best!
Everybody Either young or old needs the rod at one time or the other in our journey through life so as to bring us back to the right path when we are diverting away. Even the great book made it know that two is better than one so that when one falls, the other can be there to raise him up.
 People also do say that no one is an highland of knowledge. So the fact remains that we need the rod at that time we are taking the wrong step.
 Yes! We need it. I mean the rod but the right rod is the best. Not just any rod. In any point(teacher, preacher,lecturer, mentor, parent, boss, leader,etc) we stand as the corrector to someone or group of people, let us ensure we use the right rod. We all have failed in this aspect. Let us amend it. There are better technique we can adopt to train people. After all, everything has changed so likewise the rod need to be checked to help in this time of change.
 Some "tongued rod" is enough to kill an healthy man. You are a murderer if you are in this position. Divert that tongue to a better place.
 Also, for our personal rod;
* suicide is not the best rod for life's frustration. When you use it, you put your family and loved ones into more sadness. You have also kill that great influence the future is waiting for. Life goes on when you are gone but that life is not yours alone!
* fighting or shouting is not the best to show how mighty you are. The opposite(meekness) is the best.
* malice/unforgiveness is not the best. Aftet all you are the only one in the prison. Forgive and get out of that prison.
* Jesus can always help you in all with the very best rod. Accept him today and be free.
 Lastly, The rod(cain) should not always be the reply to a child's mistake. Many children are wounded in the friendly fire of angry parents just like T.D.Jakes said. The bible didn't say "beat up your child the way he should grow" but rather "train up your child.." When it comes to training, it is not always beating. You need more! Collosians2:21 says that "Parents, don't come down too hard on your children or you'll crush their spirits."
Get a good rod for the right problem.
